“Even though we've changed and we're all finding our own place in the world, we all know that when the tears fall or the smile spreads across our face, we'll come to each other because no matter where this crazy world takes us, nothing will ever change so much to the point where we're not all still friends.”

Never Bored
When I was in grade school, I had lots of friends. I went from one group to another. I was pretty much active back then since I joined lots of extracurricular activities. You could practically find me in every contest there was, from math quiz, spelling bee, essay writing, school choir, folk dance, school play, drum and bugle corps, badminton, science quiz and so much more. You could even say I was pretty much known all over the school and even with other nearby schools . Because of that, I had gained lots of friends. I didn't have permanent friends but when I was in 5th grade, I got tired of being with so many different kinds of people. So, when I joined folk dancing and choir, I became close with 4 people, namely Kimberly, Kelia, and Karoline. We named ourselves 3KB, because all three of them had K as initials, and I'm the only one with B (bernadin). We did stuff together and spent so much time together.Even when we were in high school and college, we tried to update with each other's life. One of the things that we do together is take vanity pictures, and you could guess that with all the free time during summer, we took as much pictures of ourselves as we could. We even tried to make music videos but I don't think I'd post it here any time soon because it's so embarrassing. But with the pictures, I am proud to show it to the world. Lols. Prepare yourselves for a photo spam.=)
I really love these girls, it's always a laugh trip when I'm with them.
I can be myself whenever we're together.

Under the Fire Tree
I've missed school so much and my friends of course. So during the enrollment, I couldn't contain my excitement to see them. I had a good time catching up with them. What made my day even better was seeing the fire tree in full bloom. Of course I grab the chance to take pictures with it.

Summer Camp
A week after the Panaad Festival, I attended the Youth Summer Camp of our church that was held at Haven's Grace Resort, Pulupandan,Negros Occidental. I always get giddy whenever the camp is held at that resort because it's near the beach and beaches really makes me feel relaxed. It was my 3rd time to attend camp that's held at that resort, and it never failed to have a great impact on me.
I had a great time spending the whole week focusing about Honoring God in different ways, which was the theme of the camp.
I also used the time to catch up with my fellow young people, especially one of my closest friend, Judy.
And of course, I just took the chance to take sunset photos and some other interesting things by the beach.
(*excuse my haggard face, I only got 3 hours of sleep.)

Late Summer Post
My 2011 summer has been one of the most memorable ones I've ever had and not to mention the busiest. I went from one place to another, been with different people, and been reunited to those I haven't seen for the longest time. I've savored every moment of it and took as many pictures as I can (which you'll be seen here in a while). I haven't been online for a long time also hence the lack of blog posts which I am really sorry about. If blogging were a job, I would have been fired a long time ago. But I promise to tell you all about it one by one. So, allow me to take you back to April.
During the second week of April, I went as a volunteer for the Panaad Festival. I was to help my Uncle organize an event assigned to him, which was the Composo competition where each contestant has to perform a song they originally composed. You might ask what Panaad Festival is. Panaad Festival is the mother of all festivals in Negros Occidental. Each town or city had built a small booth representing their own place. They also showcase their products through their booths. Other contests were also held which allows the towns and cities to show their talents.
So, as a volunteer, I had some priveleges like meeting local celebrities and being near the stage suring contests.
I was also able to bond with my cousins because they were also volunteers there.
But all in all, I had so much fun being there and being able to witness the event itself.
